Stephen Edward Sheets is from Princeton, WV in the southern part of the state.
He has always been interested in local folklore and history and uses some situations in his books.
Sheets graduated from Princeton High School in 1992 and went on to study English Lit and Creative Writing at Concord University.
He has always had a love for writing and his real interest began after finishing second in a Young Writers Contest.
Since then he has published six books and written volumes of poetry.
